Tech Talk returns to the St. Thomas Public Library today and is offered every Thursday from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. Join the library team in the Board Room where you can get your questions answered and learn something new. All levels of tech experience welcome!
Acoustic Vibes goes Friday at the library from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Grab your instruments and join the laid-back jam session! All skill levels are welcome and encouraged. Just a heads up – this isn’t a music lesson, it’s a chance to play and enjoy an evening of musical fun and good vibes.

The Simon Joynes Playwrights’ Festival is taking place September 19th-21st at Port Stanley Festival Theatre. Three plays will be presented in public readings, followed by a question/answer session with the playwrights. Reserve your free seat now! Full details can be found here.

A Halloween Costume Pop-Up Event is taking place on Friday at the St. Thomas Seniors Centre. It’s running from 4 to 7 p.m. and $3 from every Halloween costume purchased will go to Barks and Meows Rescue. More details here!

Railway City Brewing Co. will once again have live music on Friday! Nick Ewanick is set to play from 5 to 8 p.m.

LOCAL SPORTS:
The St. Thomas Stars return to the ice Friday for their Home Opener against the Strathroy Rockets. Puck drop is set for 7:30 p.m. at the Joe. It’s also myFM Fill the Rink Night– so stop by the station at 300 Talbot Street between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. for free tickets- while supplies last.
