Fall arrives this Sunday morning at 8:44, but we shouldn’t be too worried about the cold weather arriving right away, according to Meteorologist Gerald Cheng from Environment Canada.
He expects higher than normal temperatures to stick around for a couple months.
However, Cheng says we should always be ready for the cooler weather.
As for what we’ve been seeing, Cheng says it was slightly warmer than normal.
The summer rainfall amounts, especially in June and July sure weren’t normal though. Cheng says we saw just over 363 millimetres of rain when we normally see about 230.
