Elgin OPP are seeking the public’s help in identifying a motorist who failed to remain at the scene of a collision Thursday in Southwold.
Just before 7 p.m., police responded to rear-end collision involving an ATV on First Line near Plains Road.
The driver of the ATV suffered minor injuries.
The other motorist left the scene, travelling eastbound on First Line.
The vehicle is described as:
Newer model Ford F-150 Raptor
Dark colour, possibly black
Black rims
Flared fenders
Six small lights on the upper portion of the grill
Licence plate believed to begin with “BP”
Expected to have damage to front left lower fender and fog lights
The driver of the involved vehicle is described as:
White male
Thin build
19-21 years old
Dirty blonde hair
Wearing blue or orange shirt
Investigators are asking the driver/owner of this vehicle to contact police as soon as possible.
