A local artist is bringing her newest vision to life with a performance art installation of “Face It”. Celeste Maria Fiallos in partnership with the St. Thomas Elgin Public Art Centre, has planned 4 showings of the devised theatre performance art installation for later this month. The installation is inspired by an exhibit by local artist and art centre Artistic Director Laura Woermke.
Fiallos says the production will be like something you’ve probably never seen before.
Fiallos says the story focuses on the innate relationship between nature and how that translates to our adolescent growth and will star 5 youthful artists
The performances will be taking place in Waterworks Park on July 18th and 19th. Two shows will be taking place each day at 6 p.m. and 8 p.m. and you are being asked to bring your own seating.
Tickets must be purchased for the performance and can be done through Eventbrite or on the Face It! Performance Art Installation Facebook page.
