A St. Thomas resident has been charged after a multi-vehicle collision Sunday afternoon closed the eastbound lanes of the 401 in Thames Centre.
Emergency personnel were called to a five-vehicle chain reaction collision just east of Putnam Road.
Middlesex OPP advise no injuries were reported but the eastbound lanes were closed for about two hours.
The 28-year-old St. Thomas resident was charged with following too closely.
