Today: It’s Open Chess Night at the St. Thomas Public Library from 6:30 to 8! Open Chess Night is a drop-in evening of chess, open to players of all ages and skill levels.
Tomorrow: Tuesday Tales is taking place at the St. Thomas Public Library from 10:30 to 11 a.m. Join the library team for a terrific time of telling tales! And yes–there will be singing too!
Tomorrow: Struggling to save money while food prices soar? Join Sarah Coleman from the St. Thomas Elgin Food Bank to learn all about saving money on food and essentials. It’s taking place from 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, October 29th at the St. Thomas Public Library.
Tomorrow: The STPL Book Club is back on Tuesday! Join the monthly book club from 10 to 11:30 a.m. in the Carnegie Room (Lower Level) to discuss unique books with others. In November, they’re reading The Lion Women of Tehran by Marjan Kamali. (Due to staff training, November’s book club will be held on October 29).

GOJHL: The St. Thomas Stars return to the ice Friday when they host the Pelham Panthers at the Joe. Puck drop is set for 7:30 p.m.
