As we look back on the week that was, here were our top five most read stories from October 26th to November 1st:
1. Last Thursday, myFM reported two Central Elgin residents had submitted nomination applications to represent the Conservative Party of Canada in the next federal election. One of them, Tony Brooks advised us Friday that his nomination has not been accepted due to a membership technicality.
2. This past Friday, our team along with a great group of local sponsors, handed out the 2024 myFM and Gastech Solutions Inc. Spirit Awards.

3. Due to a number of fire code violations, a southside apartment building has recently been closed by the City of St. Thomas and the St. Thomas Fire Department.
4. Ontario taxpayers are set to receive a $200 cheque in the mail early next year.
5. Elgin OPP have charged two individuals from Wardsville following an investigation into a suspicious vehicle in West Elgin.
