Southwestern Public Health is updating its five-year strategic plan and is inviting the community to provide input.
Until the end of November, the health unit is hosting staff town halls and interviews with community service providers.
Members of the public can participate through an online survey available at swpublichealth.ca. The deadline for submissions will be November 29th.
Health units have three core functions: health protection, health promotion and illness prevention. A strategic plan outlines where the health unit will prioritize its work and funding allocation.
