With the Canada Post strike about to enter its third week, the talks have essentially ground to a halt.
Since Nov. 18, a special mediator has been assigned to negotiations, however any progress has been limited to minor issues.
According to a Canada Post release on Tuesday, the Canadian Union of Postal Workers (CUPW) has indicated through the special mediator that it will not be responding to detailed proposals recently put forward by the Crown corporation.
Today (Wednesday) it was announced that special mediator has suspended services.
