The first ever Talbotville Family Day in the Park is coming up on Saturday August 10th from 11 a.m. – 4 p.m. The event at the Talbotville Optimist Park will feature lots of family activities including a bouncy castle, bouncy games, the Talbotville Fire Department truck, a barbecue, and a bike rodeo organized by the OPP.
The event is geared towards Talbotville and Southwold Residents and is being organized by the Talbotville Neighbourhood Association and the Talbotville Optimist Club.
Organizing Member Marianne Fischtner says the event is meant to bring the community together.
Fischtner says that they wanted to hold the event at the park before it is relocated as part of the Talbotville residential expansion. The event is free to attend.
