Today: An Embrace Skilled Trades event hosted by the Elgin Middlesex Oxford Workforce Planning and Development Board is taking place at the CASO Station on Wednesday from 5 to 8 p.m. Attendees will have the opportunity to learn about local and government support programs and resources, discover how skilled trades can benefit their workforce, and network with industry leaders. Today: The Pitch grand finale returns to St. Thomas on Wednesday with a record-breaking $50,000 in cash and in-kind prizes up for grabs. Five entrepreneurs will have the chance to share their stories live at the St. Anne’s Centre. Doors open at 5:30 with the event getting underway at 6 p.m.
Today: Trivia takes place every Wednesday night at Railway City Brewing from 7 to 9! Stop in for an evening of good food and fun with no need to preregister.
Tomorrow: Tech Talk returns to the St. Thomas Public Library and is offered every Thursday from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. Join the library team in the Board Room where you can get your questions answered and learn something new. All levels of tech experience welcome!
Tomorrow: New Year, New Skills is taking place at the St. Thomas Public Library from 6:30 to 8 p.m. on Thursday. Kickstart the year by learning fun, timeless skills with a modern twist! This week, you’ll learn to create hand-stamp t-shirts. Bring your own t-shirts—they’ll supply the rest!
