A 31 year old St. Thomas is facing multiple charges after St. Thomas police responded to a disturbance at a Pine Valley Drive residence on Monday afternoon (July 15). Police were called around 1 p.m. after a disturbance with a 27 year old man allegedly turned violent.
Police say the argument resulted in landscape rocks being thrown, resulting in windows in the home and in a vehicle in the driveway being broken.
It’s alleged that the accused then kicked in the front door and entered the house, only to be chased out by the homeowner with a baseball bat.
The accused fled before police arrived on scene however police arrested the man Tuesday (July 16) morning. He’s facing two counts of mischief to property under $5,000, assault with a weapon, uttering threats to cause damage to property and one count of break and enter. He answered the charges at a court appearance on Tuesday (July 16).
