Today: It’s election day in Canada, giving you the chance to cast your vote for Elgin-St. Thomas-London South’s Member of Parliament, as well our country’s Prime Minister. Polls are open from 9:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. and you can find all the details on local candidates, voting information and more- here.

Today: The Friends of the St. Thomas Public Library are hosting their Annual Auction. Auctions close April 28th. More details can be found here.

Today: A Senior Writers’ Meetup is taking place from 6 to 8 Monday night at the St. Thomas Public Library. Are you a senior who is passionate about writing? Connect with other writers, share ideas, and work on your projects at Senior Writers’ Meetup! Open to senior writers of all levels and backgrounds.

Today: A New 12 Step Meeting in St. Thomas – Overeaters Anonymous, takes place each Monday at Central United Church at 7 p.m. More details here.

Today: It’s Open Chess Night at the St. Thomas Public Library from 6:30 to 8! Open Chess Night is a drop-in evening of chess, open to players of all ages and skill levels.
