The Rosy Rhubarb Festival returns to Shedden this weekend, celebrating over 30 years of community spirit, rhubarb delights, and family fun.
Taking place June 7 and 8 at the Southwold Keystone Complex, the festival offers a packed schedule of activities for all ages.
Start your day with breakfast at the Pavilion from 8 to 11:30 a.m.
Children can enjoy the Kids Zone, featuring games, face painting, bouncers, a petting zoo, and more.
Families can also plan to attend shows put on by Craig the Science Guy, Yvette the Puppet Lady and the Amazing Corbin over the weekend.
Live entertainment includes performances by The Smokin’ Bass Band, Doug Clayfield Trio, and local artists Austin Gagnier, John Milles & Chris Eveland.
New this year is a partnership with Natterjack Brewery, NE1 Spirits Ltd., and Burning Kiln Winery, offering a selection of cocktails and mocktails, complemented by an extended seating and shade tent near the adult beverage area.
Festival hours are Saturday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Parking and entrance are by donation, with designated areas near the festival grounds.
