Aylmer Police continue to investigate a serious crash that sent three people to hospital Friday evening, including one with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
It took place around 5:18 p.m. on July 4, when a vehicle towing a boat had pulled over and parked on the east side of John
Street South. Police say a passenger had gotten out and was grabbing something from the back when a northbound vehicle hit the boat.
That impact also struck the person on foot, propelling them onto a nearby lawn.
Emergency crews responded quickly, providing medical assistance at the scene before transporting three individuals to hospital. One person sustained serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
Police say the incident remains under investigation.
