The Ontario government is investing $137,800 in The INN located in St. Thomas, as part of a larger $45 million commitment to support non-profit organizations across the province.
The funding, announced through the Ontario Trillium Foundation’s (OTF) Grow grant stream, will be distributed over two years to help The INN expand its Housing-Focused Case Management services.
These services provide personalized support to individuals experiencing homelessness in St. Thomas and Elgin County.
The expansion comes at a critical time, as demand for homelessness support continues to rise in the region. The INN’s staff and volunteers work closely with vulnerable residents to connect them with housing, healthcare, and community resources.
The investment is part of the provincial government’s effort to protect and strengthen communities by helping non-profits adapt and improve services that promote health, inclusion, and stability across Ontario.
A total of 140 non-profits, Indigenous communities, and small municipalities received funding under this latest OTF announcement.
