1. St. Thomas Police say a 45-year-old man is facing new charges after being stopped for suspected impaired driving within the city.
Police were alerted by a concerned citizen about a possible impaired driver and located the vehicle shortly after. While speaking with the driver, officers observed signs of impairment and Standard Field Sobriety Test was conducted, resulting in a fail.

5. Southwestern Public Health is asking for the community’s help in identifying a dog involved in a bite incident in St. Thomas. The incident in question happened on September 1st, around 6:45 p.m. near Lake Margaret Trail.
