A 56-year-old St. Thomas man is facing impaired driving charges following a collision Friday morning.
Police say the man contacted them after striking a parked car, and during their interaction, it was suspected he had been drinking.
He was then given a roadside breath test, which resulted in a fail.
Further samples taken at the station confirmed he was over the legal limit.
The man was later released with a future court date and received an administrative driver’s licence suspension.
