The United Way Elgin Middlesex is gearing up for the launch of their 2025 Community Campaign with the return of the 3M Harvest Lunch.
Locally, the lunch-and-launch event is taking place on Tuesday (Sept 23) at the Elgin County Railway Museum from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., inviting residents to help pay-it-forward through the purchase of a lunch ticket.
Every $25 ticket sold not only includes lunch for the attendee, but supplies a meal to a neighbour in need thanks to the United Way’s partner agencies.
United Way will be serving a sandwich lunch, with vegan and halal options available.
Those who can’t be there in person also have the option to pay-it-forward with a $10 meal for a neighbour ticket.
