The Town of Aylmer is reminding residents to be cautious of scam attempts involving both door-to-door visits and phone calls.
Officials say the town does not send representatives to inspect furnaces, water heaters, or other home appliances, nor does it call residents to request in-home visits for these purposes.
The Town encourages everyone to stay vigilant and report any suspicious encounters.
