Today: Take a swing for a good cause at a mini golf fundraiser happening Wednesday, October 15, at Railway 1856 Indoor Mini Golf inside the Elgin Centre. Running from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., the event will see 50% of all mini golf purchases donated to Community Living Elgin, helping support programs and services for individuals with developmental disabilities. Led by retired police officer Mike Souliere, this session will equip you with the tools and knowledge you need to stay safe. Learn how to identify common fraud tactics, protect your personal information, and take action if you or someone you know becomes a victim.
Today: The Teen Advisory Board at the St. Thomas Public Library is a group of teens in grades 9 – 12 who meet once a month from 4 until 5 p.m. to plan and promote exciting programs, talk about ways to make the library a more inclusive space for all teens. Join them on Wednesday!
