St. Thomas Police have charged two people after responding to a disturbance at an apartment building on Talbot Street on Sunday morning.
Officers were called just before 8:30 a.m. for reports of two individuals involved in a physical altercation. Police say an argument between the couple escalated, resulting in both parties assaulting each other.
A 44-year-old woman and a 36-year-old man, both from St. Thomas, were charged with one count of assault.
They were released on conditions not to associate with each other and are scheduled to appear in court at a later date.
