Police in St. Thomas have charged a 25-year-old man with impaired operation and blood alcohol over 80 mg/100ml after a suspicious vehicle report on Sunday morning.
Officers were called to Wellington Street around 9:30 a.m. after a vehicle was seen parked on the side of the road with the driver appearing asleep. Police made contact and noted signs of impairment.
Breath tests recorded readings of 160 mg/100ml and 140 mg/100ml.
The man was processed at police headquarters and later released on an undertaking to appear in court.
