Families in St. Thomas are invited to lace up their skates and ring in the New Year with a free community skate on Wednesday.
The St. Thomas Chamber of Commerce is hosting the New Year’s Eve Free Skate at the Joe Thornton Community Centre, running from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
The event is open to everyone and offers a fun, active way for residents to kick off New Year’s Eve celebrations.
Attendees are reminded that children 12 and under are required to wear a CSA-approved hockey helmet while on the ice. Helmets and skates are not available to rent in St. Thomas, so participants must bring their own equipment.
