St. Thomas police have arrested a 29-year-old man following a reported unlawful entry at a north-end residence.
Officers were called to the address around 6:30 p.m. on Sunday (Jan .4) after residents reported an unknown man had entered the home, startling the occupants.
The individual left the area before police arrived, but a description was provided. Officers located the suspect a short distance away and arrested and charged him with unlawfully in a dwelling.
He was transported to police headquarters, processed, and later released on an undertaking.
He is scheduled to appear in court at a later date.
