A section of Talbot Street in downtown St. Thomas is closed after debris was reported falling from nearby buildings.
The closure affects the stretch between St. George Street and Pearl Street and will remain in place until crews can fully assess the situation.
Staff are working with building owners to resolve the issue; however, there is no estimated reopening date at this time.
The City is asking the public for patience and cooperation as efforts continue to ensure the area can be safely reopened.
