A 65-year-old man from St. Thomas has been charged following an alleged road rage incident that left a 16-year-old injured on Tuesday afternoon.
Police say the accused followed a vehicle to a southside parking lot, where he exited his car and assaulted the teen. CCTV footage of the incident provided to police also showed the man leaving the scene at high speed, nearly striking two pedestrians.
The man faces one count of assault, one count of assault causing bodily harm, and one count of uttering threats.
In an update shared by police on Thursday, the accused was located and taken into custody, where he was held for a morning court appearance.
