What if two of the biggest names in music history had shared the same stage?
That question is at the heart of Blue Suede and Rhinestones: Dolly Meets Elvis, a new tribute concert coming to the Port Stanley Festival Theatre this Valentine’s Day. And due to strong demand, a second evening performance has already been added for Saturday, February 14th.
The show stars internationally recognized Elvis tribute artist Bruno Nesci alongside powerhouse vocalist Daphne Moens, whose Dolly Parton tribute has quickly become a standout.
Nesci explains that together, they’ve created a concert built around music’s most famous “what if.”
Both performers bring decades of experience to the stage. Nesci has spent more than 26 years performing around the world as Elvis, including appearances at Graceland and top finishes at international Elvis tribute competitions.
Moens comes from a musical theatre background herself, discovering her connection to Dolly Parton almost by accident before turning it into a career-defining role.
While Elvis and Dolly are rarely paired together, Moens and Nesci agree that the connection between them runs deeper than many realize.
Audiences can expect a carefully crafted journey through different eras of both artists’ careers.
The first half explores their earlier years, while the second half highlights the glitz, glamour, and musical evolution that defined their later work. With multiple costume changes, a six-piece live band, and no backing tracks, the production leans more toward an elevated concert experience than a traditional tribute show.
The result, Nesci says, is something designed for everyone, not just die-hard Elvis or Dolly fans. Adding that it would make the perfect Valentine’s date night.
The show features a wide range of familiar hits, including Jolene, Suspicious Minds, Coat of Many Colors, and Burning Love, along with moments designed to surprise even longtime fans.
Blue Suede and Rhinestones: Dolly Meets Elvis hits the PSFT stage Saturday, February 14th, with seats still available for the 7:30 p.m performance.
