Today (Feb 25) is Pink Shirt Day, raising awareness about bullying in schools, workplaces and online.
The initiative started in 2007 when students in Nova Scotia wore pink shirts to support a bullied peer.
Since then, Pink Shirt Day has grown into a global campaign, inspiring anti-bullying efforts in countries as far away as Japan, New Zealand, and China.
Last year, nearly 180 countries participated, using social media and fundraisers to spread awareness.
Observed on the last Wednesday of February, Pink Shirt Day reminds us to stand up for those being bullied—not just today, but every day.
Wearing pink is more than a statement—it’s a commitment to kindness, inclusion, and change.
