Today: VON Middlesex Elgin is hosting Caregivers and Seniors Walking Groups each Tuesday and Thursday in St. Thomas. Walks will take place on Tuesday mornings at 10:30 at the Joe Thornton Arena and every Thursday morning at 11 at the Elgin Mall’s Metro entrance. Full details here.

Today: The Polar Plunge is back in St. Thomas on Thursday, March 12th, and local police are once again inviting the community to get “Freezin’ For A Reason” in support of Special Olympics. Tomorrow: Baby Storytime is being hosted at St. Thomas Public Library on Friday from 10:30 to 11 a.m. This storytime is designed for babies and their caregivers to explore early literacy through gentle stories, songs, and rhymes. Start your reading journey together in a cozy, welcoming environment. *Please note: this program is exclusively for babies who cannot walk yet.

GOHL: The St. Thomas Stars return to playoff action this campaign after clinching a berth in the final game of the season. With an eighth-place finish, the Stars face front-runners Chatham in the opening round. The series begins Sunday, March 15th, in Chatham at 7 p.m. myFM will be broadcasting the game, with the pre-game show starting at 6:50 p.m
