Police are reminding drivers to prioritize safety as crowds are expected to gather for the upcoming Friday the 13th Port Dover event.
The Ontario Provincial Police say increased pedestrian and vehicle traffic is anticipated in the downtown Port Dover area, even though the off-season event typically draws smaller crowds than summer gatherings.
Officers will maintain a visible presence throughout the day and are encouraging motorists to drive sober, follow speed limits, and adjust to changing weather and road conditions.
Anyone who observes suspicious activity during the event is encouraged to contact police or submit anonymous tips through Crime Stoppers.
