Parents and caregivers of children with Autism Spectrum Disorder will have an opportunity to learn more about available supports at an upcoming information evening hosted by the Thames Valley District School Board.
The event, titled Connecting and Learning Together, will focus on helping families better understand programs, services, and resources available to students with ASD through the school board and community partners.
Attendees will hear from representatives about supports offered within the board, connect with organizations that provide services for children with autism and their families, and have the chance to ask questions and meet other parents and caregivers.
The evening takes place on Thursday, April 9,th from 5:30 to 8 p.m. at the TVDSB Education Centre, located at 1250 Dundas Street in London.
Space for the event is limited, and organizers ask that no more than two adults per household register so more families can take part.
A light snack and refreshments will be provided, though childcare will not be available.
