A 60-year-old St. Thomas resident is facing fraud-related charges following an investigation in Middlesex Centre.
According to the Ontario Provincial Police, officers were called to a business on Jefferies Road on January 9 after receiving a report of fraud.
Police say the investigation determined an employee had allegedly cashed fraudulent cheques totalling just under $45,000.
As a result, Cheryl Brady has been charged with fraud over $5,000 and using or dealing with forged documents.
The accused has since been released from custody and is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in London on May 11th to answer to the charges.
