The 29 year old proceeded to hit the man in the face with the crowbar and then continued down the street hitting several telephone poles along the way. Police were then called after a citizen reported the disturbance and found the 29 year old a short distance away on Malakoff Street.
The man was taken into custody without incident and charged with one count Assault With a Weapon, one count Possession of a Weapon for a Dangerous Purpose and two counts Breach of Probation. Minor injuries were reported as a result of the incident and it is alleged that alcohol was a factor in the dispute.
