St. Thomas Police are investigating an assault Monday night involving the use of an aerosol irritant spray.
Around 9:30 p.m., an individual was approached by two youths and a verbal altercation ensued.
One of the youths then sprayed the victim before the pair fled the area.
Police have obtained video footage to assist with their investigation.
