Two recent donations have resulted in the St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital Foundation receiving a combined $4,000 in funding. The Royal Canadian Legion Last Post Branch in Port Stanley recently donated $3,000 for patient care equipment at the hospital.
Libro Credit Union in St. Thomas has also donated $1,000 to the foundation. The funds came from a Barbecue and Bake Sale that the bank held in June that was put on by staff that was also open to the community.
The funds from the barbecue and bake sale will also be going towards patient care equipment.
