NHL Central Scouting released its final rankings for the 2026 NHL Draft class on Thursday, and a local player has cracked the Top 100 for North American Skaters.
St. Thomas’ Parker Vaughan sits 83rd on the North American Skaters Final Rankings list, led by Penn State’s Gavin McKenna.
Vaughan played the 2025-26 campaign with the North Bay Battalion of the Ontario Hockey League, scoring 14 goals and adding 19 assists for 33 points this season.
The 18-year-old has also spent time with the Barrie Colts of the OHL, a small stint with the St. Thomas Stars of the Greater Ontario Hockey League, and a number of seasons with the Elgin-Middlesex Canucks.
The NHL Draft is scheduled for June 26-27, 2026, at the KeyBank Center in Buffalo, New York.
