A heads up to residents and visitors of Port Stanley, as paid parking is once again back for the summer season.
The Municipality of Central Elgin says parking fees in municipal lots came into effect May 1 and will remain in place through September 30. Paid parking is enforced daily from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., with the Boat Launch Lot operating under 24-hour enforcement.
Drivers can pay using the Honk Mobile app, pay-by-plate machines with a credit card or coins, or by purchasing a seasonal parking pass.
Municipal officials note that free on-street parking remains available throughout the village, along with select municipal lots, including the Visitors Centre lot on Carlow Street and the municipal lot on Colonel Bostwick Drive.
Motorists are reminded to check posted signage, as time limits vary by location.
