As of Monday (May 4) three hopefuls had declared their intention to seek a seat on city council in St. Thomas.
Joe Docherty Jr., Brian May and Kyle Yates have all filed their nomination papers at city hall.
The nomination period opened on May 1 and individuals have until 2 p.m. Aug. 21 to file their papers.
