The St. Thomas Police Service is investigating a break-and-enter at a rural property within city limits that resulted in the theft of two vehicles and a quantity of tools.
Police say the incident occurred sometime between the evening of May 1 and the morning of May 4 at a secured shop on Bush Line in St. Thomas. Unknown suspect or suspects gained entry to the building and made off with two pickup trucks parked inside.
The stolen vehicles include a black GMC pickup and a customized white Isuzu pickup with a seven-foot box carrying a mounted water tank.
Several power tools, including DeWalt and Milwaukee brands, were also taken from inside the vehicles.
Police are asking anyone who may have seen suspicious activity in the area or who has information about the stolen property to contact them at 519-631-1224 or submit an anonymous tip through Crime Stoppers.
The investigation remains ongoing.
