The Victoria Day long weekend is here, marking the unofficial start of summer across Ontario, with the warm weather expected to arrive just in time.
Environment Canada is calling for a mix of sun and cloud on Monday with a high of 28 degrees, giving residents and visitors plenty of reason to head outdoors and enjoy the holiday.
This year, shoppers may notice more businesses open on the holiday after the Ontario government announced in March that retailers would be allowed to remain open on Victoria Day and Family Day.
It’s best to call ahead to see if the store you wish to visit will be operating.
Elsewhere, all municipal buildings, offices, and banks will be closed on Monday.
