An Aylmer resident is facing several charges following a disturbance at a residence last week.
According to the Aylmer Police Service, officers were called to a home on May 20th after staff reported a resident had become increasingly aggressive and caused damage inside the residence.
Police say property was damaged during the incident, and an employee was struck with a plate allegedly thrown during the altercation.
When officers arrived, the female was reportedly located on the roof of the residence. Police say officers safely negotiated with the individual before taking her into custody.
During the interaction, police allege the female assaulted a peace officer and uttered threats toward another officer. Investigators also determined the accused was allegedly in possession of a prohibited sharp instrument, contrary to previously imposed release conditions.
As a result, the accused is facing two counts of mischief under $5,000, assault with a weapon, failure to comply with an undertaking, assaulting a peace officer, and uttering threats to cause death or bodily harm.
