City police are investigating multiple sexual assaults that took place over a number of years, in St. Thomas and London.
The accused is a 48-year-old St. Thomas resident.
During the investigation, additional incidents of sexual assaults and interference involving young persons, and domestic violence were identified.
As a result, the accused is charged with five counts of sexual assault, four counts of sexual interference, spousal assault, assault causing bodily harm, uttering threats to cause death or bodily harm-spousal, and forcible confinement.
The accused was arrested, transported to police headquarters for processing and held for a court appearance.
