A young hockey player from St. Thomas got exciting news on Monday night after being selected in the Ontario Hockey League (OHL) U18 Priority Selection Draft.
Andrew Menlove was chosen 34th overall by the London Knights.
Menlove is a left-handed goaltender who has been playing with the Elgin-Middlesex Canucks U18 AAA program. He comes off a strong development path with steady play in U16 and U18 competition, including solid performances in regular-season and playoff action.
Being selected by the London Knights is a major step in his hockey career, allowing him to develop within one of the OHL’s most well-known organizations.
