The St. Thomas Police Service and the Chief of Police, Community Inclusion Council are inviting residents to come together for an afternoon of food, fun, and connection at the third annual Community Inclusion BBQ.
The free event takes place Sunday, July 5, at the Lakeside Pavilion in Pinafore Park.
Running from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., the barbecue is designed to bring people together in a welcoming and relaxed environment, explains Samantha Wakefield, Corporate Communications Coordinator with the St. Thomas Police Service.
This year’s barbecue will feature opening ceremonies, live entertainment, complimentary food, and opportunities to meet members of the Community Inclusion Council and the St. Thomas Police Service.
And everyone’s invited!
The annual barbecue is supported this year by the St. Thomas and District Chamber of Commerce and the Elgin St. Thomas Community Foundation.
No registration is required. Residents are encouraged to simply stop by, enjoy a meal, and spend the afternoon getting to know their neighbours and local police officers.
