Supporting local healthcare this month is as easy as picking up a tub of ice cream at Shaw’s Dairy Bar.
Throughout July, Shaw’s Dairy Bar on Sunset Road is donating $2 from every 1.5-litre tub of ice cream purchased to the St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital Foundation.
The fundraiser is being held in celebration of the Foundation’s 40 years of community impact, with proceeds supporting its Patient Care and Comfort Fund.
Funds raised will help purchase comfort-focused equipment and care items that enhance the hospital experience for patients and their families, making their stay more welcoming and supportive.
The month-long campaign runs through July 31 at Shaw’s Dairy Bar only, located at 6598 Sunset Road in St. Thomas.
