A 41-year-old St. Thomas man is facing multiple charges following an intimate partner violence investigation.
St. Thomas police say officers were contacted Monday evening after a woman reported being threatened by a former partner during an interaction at a city park.
As the investigation continued, police say they learned of additional incidents involving alleged sexual assault and repeated threats.
The man was later arrested and has been charged with two counts of sexual assault and two counts of uttering threats.
Police say he was taken to headquarters for processing before being released on an undertaking with a future court date.
