The newly announced inter-provincial alcohol trade agreement could open fresh doors for St. Thomas and Elgin area breweries, wineries and distilleries.
Ontario producers will be able to reach customers in eight other provinces through direct online sales.
At the same time, residents of our listening area will gain access to more Canadian products.
The province says the deal supports small businesses while making shopping easier and more convenient.
That means local customers can explore more Canadian-made products without travelling or relying only on what is stocked locally.
