One person has suffered minor injuries following a residential fire in St. Thomas.
The St. Thomas Fire Department was called to a home on Barwick Street just before 5:30 a.m. Monday, where the St. Thomas Police Service assisted firefighters as they worked to bring the blaze under control.
According to police, the resident made it out safely and was treated for minor injuries.
The scene has since been cleared, with officials thanking neighbours and motorists for their patience and for giving emergency crews the room they needed to work safely.
The cause of the fire has not been released.
