Southwestern Public Health has updated its beach water quality testing results as of Wednesday (Aug. 5).
The health unit is advising of high levels of bacteria at Port Burwell beaches, Main Beach Port Stanley, Port Bruce and Springwater Conservation Area.
All other Elgin county beaches are showing low levels of bacteria.
Beach water quality updates are available on the health unit website and also 24/7 by dialing 2-1-1, Ontario’s free information and referral service.
